Sam earned a Ph. D. in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of South Carolina and is a National Board Certified teacher. Throughout a 25+-year career, she has worked with students of all ages and considers herself a perpetual student.
Originally from South Carolina, she has spent four years in Colorado after meeting and marrying her favorite human. Her perfect day is one spent with her husband and dog.
